SFT-TV: Aug. 10th Dispatch from Union Square, New York City
SFT-TV visits a demonstration in Union Square where hundreds of Tibetans and supporters braved the rain to welcome back to the U.S. several Tibet activists arrested and deported from China for taking nonviolent action in Beijing during the Olympic Games.
It is so encouraging to see so many young and educated Tibetans now able to fight for Tibetan people’s right eloquently and with skill. I think our country will be free one day. I like to thank all the non-tibetan supporters you their support. I think we should do better job of recognising them and their contribution so that we don’t look like bunch of ingrates.
I would like to thank all the non Tibetan supporters for Free Tibet and Kala la, I wish you a speedy recovery and thank you SFT for your hard work.
